1) Using the keyhole slots on the lift plate as guide, mark two drill locations on the paver to be removed. Drill a hole on each mark and insert a Tapcon® concrete screw in each hole.

2) With the lift plate lowered, place the E-Z Paver Puller so that the feet rest on either side of the paver to be removed.

3) Slide the E-Z Paver Puller until it engages the Tapcon® screw heads into the keyhole slots.

4) Pull the handle to raise the life plate slightly so that the heads of the Tapcons® are engaged, and turn the two leveling screws while holding up the lift place until they make a firm, level contact with the paver.

5) Rotate the handle clockwise applying firm pressure to the paver.

6) Turn slowly until the paver breaks free.

7) If pavers have been sealed or are held in place with polymeric sand, it may be necessary to tap the surrounding pavers with a rubber mallet in order to break the seal.

8) Lift up on the turn handle to remove the paver.
